Dr. Andrew Brown - Doctor of Chiropractic

He is a graduate of Minnesota's prestigious Northwestern Health Sciences University, focusing in family wellness care and possessing post graduate training in clinical nutrition and whiplash.

"Health and wellness is on those things you take for granted and don't really think about, unless you don't have it. That was the case for me anyway," said Dr. Brown. In high school Dr. Brown was sidelined by a major lower back injury. He endured months of doctor visits and rehab only to re-injure his back again. "I know now that the reason I re-injured my back was because the problem was never really fixed," commented Dr. Brown. The best recommendation his doctor could give was pain pills, education videos on proper lifting, and more physical therapy. It was at that point that Dr. Brown sought out the advice of a chiropractor. That visit changed his life. Several adjustments combined with proper rehabilitation corrected the problem. "I decided that chiropractic was how I wanted to help people."

Dr. Brown's philosophy on wellness is that optimal health depends on doing a combination of things right. Proper spinal health is crucial because your nervous system controls every cell, tissue, organ, and function of the body. But, we also must eat right and exercise regularly. It's this proper balance over the course of your lifetime that leads to optimal health. "I know this doesn't come easy to most people. It's my mission to teach and educate as many people as possible about health and living a life of wellness."

At Build and Balance Chiropractic we want you to enjoy a wellness experience each time you visit. We want you to learn new insights into your health. We want you to achieve your health goals, whatever they may be. Whatever your story, we are here to serve you.

Dr. Stacy Land - Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Stacy graduated from Northwestern Health Science University in Bloomington MN.  She felt compelled to become a chiropractor after it helped her recover after a fall off her horse.  After the fall, she was brought to the emergency room where they told her they didn't find anything wrong.  After months of having severe headaches every day, her friend brought her to their family chiropractor.  Dr. Stacy explained the events that led to her headaches and limited neck movement and started treatment that same day.  After a few weeks, not only were her headaches completely gone, but her quality of life had drastically improved!  She was sleeping better, noticed  better digestion, and was more energetic during the day.  This was a major turning point in her life; she knew that chiropractic would bein her future.  Dr. Stacy knew this was the tool that would allow her to help many families obtain natural health and wellness.

Dr Stacy is happy to have the ability to help people find their path to wellness.  She is excited to have the opportunity to serve the practice members at Build and Balance Chiropractic!

Karla Kuehl - Certified Massage Therapist

I graduated from the Aveda Institute in 1996 for massage and day spa services.  I have been doing massage for 12 years and I am still in love with my career choice. I love that everybody is different and has different problems to solve. I think my clients would say I have a bit of OCD when it comes to knots because I just can't seem to leave them alone until they are gone. I would just like to think of myself as a problem solver. Come on in and see for yourself!

Lisa Shear - Office Manager

With a health care background as a medical assistant, joining a team that is so wellness and family oriented was a refreshing and much needed change. Helping people reach their full health and wellness potential is a great way to spend my day. My 2 year old son, Brayden, 4 year old daughter, Jordyn, and husband Jerome love coming in for their adjustments, too!

Julie Sinner - Chiropractic Assistant

I graduated in 1993 from St. Cloud State University with a BS degree in Physical Education and a Minor in Athletic Training.  Through my education I earned a Minnesota teaching license and NATA certification ( National Athletic Trainers Association).  I was hired as the Assistant ATC at Macalester College in 1993 and in 1996 became the Head Athletic Trainer until 2003 when I resigned to stay at home with my kids Jordan and Mackenzie then ages 4 and 1.  Taking care of my Husband Rick, my kids and the rest of my family is the most important priority in my life.  Health has always been a passion for me and in December of 2010 I was excited to be hired at Build and Balance Chiropractic.  I did not know much about Chiropractic when I started, but have learned a lot since I started and continue to learn new things every day.  Dr. Brown has taught me and opened my mind to nutrition, immunizations, antibiotics, and many other health topics that I hope I can pass on to our patients and anyone else who will listen.  Chiropractic has changed my life and it will change yours too.
