Do you realize that an average adults head weighs between 8 and 10 pounds?  That is the same weight as a bowling ball.  Hold your hand up like you are carrying a tray of food.  Imagine holding a bowling ball instead.  You can hold it for some time, because you have a nice curve behind your wrist, supporting you.  What if you straightened out your hand, loosing the curve? Would you drop the ball?  YES!  You have no support!  The curve of your neck is the same way!  If you have lost your curve or it has become reversed, your neck muscles and ligaments have to work 50 times harder to support your 'heavy' head.  Do you think that could cause stress, tension or even headaches?  Our role at Build and Balance Chiropractic in Blaine, MN is to remove Subluxation and restore the correct curve to your spine.

Nothing!! However, Chiropractic adjustents can sometimes sound like popcorn "popping" in your spine.  The poppping noise is merely a gas release. This sound does not indicate whether or not the adjustment was a 'good one'.  Many adjustments do not make any noise---they are all great!
